Down 2-1 and down to their last strike, the Pawsox season is saved for the moment by none other than Rusney Castillo. RC lined a fastball to right for a single to drive in the pinch runner from third to tie the game.

Eduardo Rodriguez went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks; striking out 6. Dalier Hinojosa went 2 1/3 innings, giving up a hit and striking out 4. Ryan Verdugo walked the only batter he faced. Heath Hembree went 1 2/3 innings, giving up 2 hits and striking out one. Jose Valdez went 2 innings, giving up a walk and a HBP; striking out one.

Ryan Lavarnway went 4/6 with a double and a walk. Deven Marrero went 2/6. Alex Hassan walked 4 times before being pinch run for by Derrik Gibson who scored the game tying run in the 9th, and was then replaced by Corey Brown who went 0/2. Travis Shaw went 1/5 with a walk. Ivan de Jesus and Rusney Castillo each went 1/6 with a walk; de Jesus with a 13th inning 2-run HR and Castillo with the RBI single scoring Gibson in the 9th. Garin Cecchini went 1/6. Bryce Brentz went 1/7. Blake Swihart went 0/4 with 2 walks and a PO/CS.
