Divisional grudge match!

If the two teams matching up could repost their PFF stats and their thoughts on the matchup to kick things off, that would be dandy.  I'm putting the poll up now (only 20 choices are possible, which is why it only goes up to +9) but people may want to wait to vote until a little discussion has occurred.  I'm making the voting public so that if something crazy happens we can see why.  Winner to be determined via powerball (see playoff proposal post).

Just a reminder that the Browns tried to argue they finished 5-11 and admit they have a shitty QB.

Whereas the Bengals have Tom Brady.

Divisional matchups are usually 3 to 4 points. If I detach myself from this and put on my gambling hat (and remember that's a successful gambling hat) I'd peg it at Bengals -3.5 even with RFP. Why? Because if we truly are the 6th seed and our defense is as good as I think it is almost every game we had would be close.

What is up with no half points? If I were betting on this game I'd tease Browns +10.5 and feel that's probably a lock (obviously I'd have to tease another team too...).

But yeah my vote is Bengals -3.5. 5dimes would start it at -3.5. Bovada would be -2.5. lol.

By the way, that seems like a great way to cheat the system.

If I knew you were going to pull that crap, I would have bet even money and cancelled out your nonsense pick.

The bonus is that Giselle sits in the owners box with you.

You need no more bonus.

Giselle is a soft 7 at best. I just don't see this game more than -3.5. Brady gives you that extra .5. Remember that Andy Dalton was a 7 point favorite over SD.

I will keep the polls open until 2:00 EST today.  But here are the tentative powerball numbers.  11 votes cast, throwing out the highest and lowest votes leaves us an average of Bengals-4.

Browns win on balls 1-22, Bengals win on balls 23-59.

I'm changing the system somewhat so that the outcomes of the games are not so dependent on each other.  If all the games were decided by the first ball drawn in powerball (as originally planned), then a low number would mean all underdogs won and a high number would mean all favorites won.  Having the outcomes connected like that seems undesirable.  So instead each game will be decided by a different ball.

This game will be decided by the second white ball drawn.

Note: A lot of powerball results sites will not list the winning numbers in the order drawn, but in ascending order.  Here is one that lists them correctly in the order drawn.

Edit: Voting now closed, one late vote came in but didnt change the line.
