As expected, although it's not like he has anything in the way of players to work with.

I said in the USMNT thread after the T&T debacle that "A Tony Pulis team would not have lost to T&T." I firmly believe that.

My two teams - the Yanks and Everton - both suffer from disjointed defenses and a whole that is less than the sum of its parts. Big Sam was thrown around as a temporary fix for both. I would curl up in a fetal ball if either hired him. I have to say that Pulis for Everton might be a good fit. I would kill right now for a side that was well organized at the back, kept its shape, and dangerous on set pieces, as is Tony's MO. Maybe a year under Pulis lets the team sort out its best XI and position it for the future.

Not too glamorous but the Toffees have badly damaged their brand this season and they're not the belle of the ball.

He will have many offers in the Premier League; I don't think he's looking yet for a retirement job like a national team coach.
