Who gets the game ball:

Price: balls in relief
Mookie: steals a 3R HR defensively
Devers: Go ahead HR at an age which puts him in company of Mantle, Machado, Harper, etc.
Hanley: 4 hits, including a big insurance one.

honorable mention to Kelly for the turniquet, and JBJ for the valerian root

Price.

Those were some big 0's he pitched to preserve the 4-3 lead against an amazing offense, before the Sox bats finally broke open the game.

If Mookie doesn't catch that ball it's game over. If Price gets shelled or isn't available it's probably game over.

Price for his tremendous relief, and for giving it to the ump at the end. Too bad Manager John couldn't do that...
Mookie for doing what Reddick failed to do. In fact the Red Sox outfield for showing up the Astros both offensively and defensively.
Hanley for leading by example - I never thought I would be able to write that...
Devers - rookie just keeps on hustling, especially at the plate.
...and the fans in the right field corner for allowing the plays to happen as they did.

So nice to have all aspects contributing to the win...total baseball.

Price. He looked like the best pitcher on the staff, which people tend to forget is a very real possibility

Betts: w/o that catch, it's a completely different game.

Price: biggest 4 innings of his Sox career.

Hanley: got it done.

Many honorable mentions: JBJ, Devers, Leon, Kelly, Moreland. But also one for John Farrell. He went with his best options from the bullpen during the highest leverage situations, and it paid off. Shades of 2016 Tito there.

Price 1-A, Hanley 1-B. Farrell was ready to take him out but he looked at him Bob Gibson style and said "I'm fine". Farrell agreed and it worked. Hanley's has a big chip about being benched and understandably so. Glad to see him come up big.

Thank you for starting this thread. It is absolutely David Price. He's been absolutely solid this entire series and is the biggest reason we are still in it.

Price.

But Mookie didn’t just make that catch on Reddick (and make it look easy). He grabbed McCann’s liner in the fourth. Chased down Springer’s fly in the sixth. Caught Correa’s shallow liner in the seventh. Betts had seven put-outs.

It was something to see. He’s the best outfielder in the game.

Price. I've been convinced his problem is between his ears and having a HUGE sack up postseason success I hope will resolve that block. I wasnt happy about his signing nor have I liked him here but there is always time for atonement and today went a long way towards that. One of the guttiest post season performance ive seen.

Hanley, who btw is hitting .600 this series, and really seemed to take an Ortiz like leadership role

Betts - just an amazing outfielder
