There's some chatter out there that the Bruins are going to sign Kenny Agostino.

25 years old, had a monster AHL season, 24-59=83 in 64 games. LW, played with O'Gara at Yale. Hasn't had much of chance to play at the NHL level, just 17 games over 3 seasons.

This is a really interesting deal.

Dude has gotten better every year he's been in the AHL. He's not a small guy (6'1, 205). He throws his weight around a little bit. Seems to have a strong shot, and based on some highlights looks like he has some pretty silky hands.

No idea why he's never gotten a legitimate NHL shot - but this kid could be steal.

He scored well all four years at Yale, and put up solid points his two prior years in ththe AHL, including 57p in 65 games the year prior. He really went off this year, so it will be interesting to see how he might fit in.

I like this signing, and am glad generally it appears they are all in on the kids this year.

Saw him play a lot at Yale. He came in as an actual 18 year old freshman (unlike most college hockey players) and made an immediate impact on what was already a pretty deep team. He went on to have a great four years at Yale and played a key role in our national championship. Definitely one of my favorite Eli hockey players. Hope he turns into something with the Bruins.
