Any injury updates? I'll be in the building, beyond excited for the game today.

Rangers shit the bed last night and rolled over for Tampa. I want to hit someone with their own shoe.

Go Bruins. You still control the situation. Hold serve. Win.

6 more games. Need 8 points I estimate to win the division fairly assuredly. Getting 2 today is a good start

No Chara or Charlie Mac?
Thought Chara was close.
I could see them keeping him out of the back to backs, so he might just go tomorrow.

Yes, Jake DeBrusk is officialy back in the lineup per Amalie Benjamin. Brian Gionta is the scratch per Bruce Cassidy.
Makes sense on Gionta. He's been a little less effective lately. Might be hitting a bit of a wall, going from 0 to Olympics to NHL.

There were probably 6 deserving winners of the award, including McAvoy.

Dobby got jobbed, McAvoy is a 1st round pick.
Agreed. One could argue the biggest difference maker this year has been great play from not just your All-Star (and paid as such) starting goalie but your backup that I think no one expected to play this well.

Khudobin's contributions are: 21 more points than last season. Almost 500 less minutes on ice for Tuukka at the end of the season (assuming he starts the Florida-team games). One stretch of 5 straight when Tuukka was struggling that was the start of the hot streak that this team has basically been on since about game 10 of the season. He's a backup, but his role as a backup has been far exceeding what is expected of a backup. ....and that's what this award is for. The person who most exceeded expectations. Khudobin's stats took a massive bump over last season. He won't play in a minute of the postseason, but hopefully his effect is making Rask able to be healthy and ready, and that's the effect you hope your backup has had once you get into the playoffs.

That being said, Heinen, McAvoy, DeBrusk and to a lesser extent Grz, Schaller, Riley, and Krug have all had step-up seasons that exceeded their expectations and I would have been ok with any of them winning as well.

My stream is so far behind I am getting the scoring notifications about a minute before it happens. So I impressed my daughter predicting s score for JAKE.

One of the refs today is officiating his final ever game after 20 years.
