Holy crap. Season bookended by a huge list of injuries, and this team is in first with six left to play. Praise all around.
In no way, shape or form did I expect before tge season that this team would be where they are right now.
What an awesome ride. I thought they would be fun after game 1, but this might be my favorite team ever. Win or lose, no matter what I am going to be sad when this season ends.

TB absolutely played like they were trying to show who’s boss. It went as expected.
Bergy is two goals away from every player on that line hitting 30. Thats huge.
They have punished Tampa’s top line all three games the teams have played against each other. A big reason why the Bruins have been able to keep those big guns fairly silent.
Boy am I glad I have health coverage again after moving to Oregon. If the team keeps playing like this, I may have to call a doctor about my stubborn erection that won't go away.
This can’t be overstated. Even with the Cup team there was always that question of which 1st line would show up on any given night. Will Horton be floating? Will Lucic be skating in mud? Etc etc.
These guys can roll through the lines too, but every few minutes there’s a goddamned powerhouse ready to demolish.
Get the top 2 D back and giddyfuckingup.
I don't know man. The 2010/11 team was a ton of fun too - and not just because they won the Cup. They had some all out brawls throughout the season where the dominated teams in fighting, in checking, and in scoring. That team was crazy.
I have to agree. Bruins/Canadiens, 7 games? Redemption and slaughter of Phili? Tim Thomas (ugh) game 6 and 7 vs Lightning?
And holy fuck, protect the Civic in the finals (and comfortable game 7 at that).

Yeah, you guys are probably right. I couldn't afford Center Ice back then, though, and didn't understand the sport nearly as well as I do now. I was also working a shitty job, with extra shitty hours, and home life kind of sucked... I think I've attached to this team more because life is better for me in a lot of ways.
That team and this year’s team are super comparable - four lines deep, constantly swarming/pursuing the puck, able to buckle down in adverse moments... the top line is the one thing that may separate this team from that year’s. Horton was a beast, Lucic was what he was, and then there’s Bergeron... but Bergy is on a whole other level right now, Marchand is a top-3 LW in the league right now, and Pasta is pretty damn good and continues to get better.
My memory of that year’s playoffs is kind of hazy, needless to say I spent a lot of time during it drinking. I can’t wait to do the same thing this year!
