Weird day for the Bruins. The CBA rules relating to the Christmas break means they couldn't fly to Columbus in advance, so they have to travel this morning for the game tonight. I'm guessing the lineup will remain the same as it was in Carolina.

Columbus is having an absurd year. They are currently on a 12-game win streak, and have points in 14 straight. Their last regulation loss was 11/23 to Calgary. They aren't just squeaking by either, they are running teams out of the barn. 7-1 over Pittsburgh last week, 10-0 over MTL earlier this season, 8-4 over STL.
The Bruins account for 40% of CBJ's regulation losses this season. Let's make it 50% tonight. CBJ is 23-5-4 with a +45 goal differential overall; 0-2-0 -6 against the Bruins. I'd like for that to continue.

Is there a resource/site where one could discover how much time the Bruins have spent trailing rather than leading? Failing that, their percentage of games in which they've surrendered the first goal? Kills me how often they're chasing.

Highly entertaining game. No quit in this team. No matter what the end result of the season is, they are fun to watch.
Have to show up ready to play. It's been a theme over the past few weeks. Nice comeback, but can't expect to win games like that, especially against quality teams.
Of course they have to fight hard to get back into games because they always seem to sleepwalk early on putting themselves in a hole.
Like it or not, Krug hitting the goalies pads is a big step up. His problem most of last year and earlier this year was that he couldn't get his shot on goal.
