Not to mention we don't need the Astros getting an extra look at him before the Division Series.

Not happening, and here's a good reason why.
You took my post out of context. I was originally responding to Ramon AC's post from over a week ago that stated that Chris Sale would not make his last start last Wednesday. If he would have not made that start against the Blue Jays, then Sale would have started the playoffs with a 14 day layoff. The situation as it stands now is obviously different than when I posted my response last week.

Oops, my apologies.

He actually took my post out of context in which I agreed with your post. :)

including 1 inning today, Price is now at 5 games, 8.2ip, 4 hits, 3hits, 13k/2bb in MR. This is such a huge addition to the bullpen. On the flip side, not to encouraging an outing for Carson Smith.

Also, is there any way Maddox is one of the 25? They have a lot of choices to make when it comes to the bullpen for the playoffs.
Carson def wasn't as sharp as usual, but I'm giving him a bit of a pass given it was pouring rain for most of his time out there and he did get jobbed by the ump on what should have been called strike 3 before the wall ball. Also, the Correa "hit" was a 55 foot dribbler down the 3b line.

2017 Kimbrel: 68.0 ip, 1.32 era, 0.66 whip, 16.3 k/9

Both. Koji for the 8th and Kimbrel in the 9th with 2004 Foulke putting out fires in the middle innings.

Based on the fact that Koji actually did close out the games, and Sox won the WS, I pick Koji. But for sheer intimidating "I am going to strike your ass out", Kimbrel is pretty scary.
