California. Duh.
They wave it off late. Sturridge got the ball but caught the keeper with the follow-through. A break for PSG, because Salah had a tap-in regardless.

The official standing 3 feet away didn't call it, but the ref ran in late and changed the call.

Atletico is unwatchable. The team hasn't made five passes in the last five minutes, and just sits back like a bunch of sad players.

Given his lack of playing time, can't fault Sturridge for the performance today. Effort was definitely there, not a surprise his touch was off a bit.

Probably jinxing it, but Red Star are holding Napoli to a 0-0 draw thus far in Belgrade

This announcer calling Mané "Sané" is driving me nuts

I really hate this new TBS/TNT world we're living in. Wish I could've seen Pulisic score. Best case scenario for him was for it to be 0-0 until he comes on and scores a winner and it looks like it's gonna happen.

If you have Univision through a cable provider, it looks like all the games are on their Deportes app. I’m watching Napoli on a second screen.

That goal was coming. One of the most impressive things about Klopp's Liverpool is that he really gets his teams in a mental state where they can be unplayable in 20 minute spurts. They really believed they could score again and ultimately they did.

I also have no idea how 32 year old James Milner just busted his lungs for 180 high-press minutes in 96 hours, but... I'll take it

Really important to get the 3 points there with a tough trip to Napoli up next.

PSG have so much attacking talent, they are scary any time you turn the ball over.

I signed up for the free trial of FuboTV and was able to watch Atletico while on the Amtrak train from NYC to Philly. The price -- $40 per month -- is more than I want to pay so I'm not sure I'll stick with it. Fox was great at $20 per month.

I don't know why sometimes Atletico can look so smooth, so dangerous, and other times the team looks like a bunch of second-division players that snuck a lead in a cup match and are desperately trying to hold on for dear life. With Costa, Griezmann, Lemar, Saul, Koke, Correa, Vitolo, Rodrigo, and Thomas, Atletico needs to learn to go for matches and control matches, not sit back and wait.

Honestly, I thought that was one of the most complete games I’ve seen from LFC. They dominated that game except for Salah’s garbage pass. The defending was tremendous. PSG is so scary yet I never felt the game was at risk. And they just outworked psg all game (Neymar is such trash btw. How can anyone root for that guy?)

Mbappe is the most dangerous player in the game. I hope he gets away from that garbage and gets to RM or Barca or some other big club.

Milner motm?

What a brilliant goal by Firmino! Such a fun match to watch. Milner was huge all game. I have to imagine Fabhino and Kieta start on Saturday to give him some rest, certainly not a bad backup plan. Great to get the 3 points. I though Liverpool was the better side more most of the match.

I couldn't have put this any better. The attacking prior to the Mbappe goal on the counter was a classic example of this. There always seemed to be 1 more LFC goal in this game, and it was quite nice to see that happen even after Mbappe leveled the score line. No drooping heads or slumped shoulders, just resolve to get another goal.

Kate Abdo with obviously no idea who Steve Nash is.
Steve Nash does commentary? Kinda cool. But definitely shows that TNT is new to this game, especially with their studio segment being shot in a basement storage room.

Fox went abruptly to Cowherd and Whitlock at 5:00, so I guess this is better? I like most of the panelists, but this whole setup screams low-budget.

Game production "finish" was lacking at best....pre/post-game has been even worse.
