Hard to imagine him being able to sell at this price in the middle of nowhere in an area where the median home sale price is 100K. At least not very quickly. The tax write off is about 3 million plus saving on property taxes and maintenance makes this a smart move. Obviously had a change in plans for where to retire.

Not saying he is not trying to do some good as well.

So...what on earth is the "domestic issue" with Hamels? I googled for Hamels and "domestic issue", and only came up with this thread, and Hamels and "arrest" came up snake eyes as well. Color me confused.
