If he comes back healthy they will literally have 5 all stars on the court at once.

Warriors just said sorry Celtics & lakers maybe in a few years. Hope for injuries boys I guess.

We only want ring chasers to play for our Pats in the NFL I guess.

Granted, Boogie took a lesser amount to essentially be guaranteed a ring, but ... I bet the Jazz feel dumb for re-upping Derrick Favors at 2/$36M now.

Looks like I’m going to be joining you guys next year. Hope that’s okay.
Next year is going to be about hoping somebody, anybody can beat the Warriors. It’s not going to be my team (the Bulls) so it appears like I’ll be a Celtics fan by default. If they can stay healthy they should come out of the East, and if anyone has a chance it should be them.

Wonder if Danny was in on him----while I like Baynes as a fit a lot more, you do have to wonder about a shot at Boogie's talent at that price.

Given the history of players coming back Achilles injuries, it’s no slam dunk like people are making it out to be

I'm guessing this is a one-ye rental for post-ASB and playoffs.

Yeah exactly. I see now it is a one-year for whenever he returns to get ready for the playoffs.

That's a rough move for Boogie.

If that's all he could get, he should've taken it from New Orleans to maintain his Bird rights, unless the Pelicans were just out. Not going to have many options to get paid next year if he can get back healthy.

Congrats on the ring I guess.

I get it. Was no team left to offer him real money and frankly a good fit. What the fuck the Lakers were thinking throwing dumb money on rondo and others when they could have offered a lot more is beyond me.

Boogie gets to rehab without pressure and win a ring and prove he's healthy for a big payday next year with a higher cap and lots of contracts ending.

It's not a crazy thing for him. But yeah the draft and tanking is the NBA's issue. Fucking silver.

I mean, he is coming off an achilles and this “super team” should have lost in the WCF — but, yeah, let’s cancel the season.

Worth posting in both threads that I hope this ass poisons this team both literally and figuratively.

I could see him in New York if the Knicks strike out on Kyrie and Durant. Boogie is a perfect Knick.

Well, I would think their job is to maximize the money the players receive in contracts.
You think Boogie going to the Warriors will result in a decrease in interest in the NBA so significant it is going to cause BRI to decrease?
