I met him once while he was presumably shopping for a tie before a game. Very nice down-to-earth guy. Sucks to see this.

I'll always remember how much respect he got from players and coaches on the sideline. Considering his job was sticking a microphone in their face, often during high-stress situations; that takes a lot of class and charm.

he was one of my favs i liked everything about him ex his suits i am a basic suit guy bule black gray white

The TNT crew is amazing - many network studio sports programs would likely over do it on the sad music etc but they are simply talking about the man, including many stories. Kudos to them for not milking this in a contrived fashion - just for remembering Sager for all the good stuff.
