Danny Amendola is still recovering from offseason knee & ankle surgeries, per source. At this point, too early to know when he'll be ready.

Both surgeries occurred after the playoffs. They had to clean up the knee after dealing with that issue late in the season. Still rehabbing.

Amendola had a bone spur in his ankle. That was a quick fix, not as much of an issue as the knee.

On the timeline, there's hope Amendola will be ready for training camp but it's way too early to know if Week 1 is even a guarantee.

Just great. So Week 1 in AZ it could be Jimmy G throwing to Chris Hogan, Malcolm Mitchell, and Nate Washington. Now we know why they signed a lot of WRs this offseason and why Bennett was a key acquisition.

That was the weirdest answer he gave. They replayed it today after the news, but even last week it just seemed odd. I'm not saying he hurt his knee in the video but he knew the surgery news was coming out and just hedged it by saying "oh we've been doing this for years" as to avoid the questions of "did you hurt it during the video" "if you needed surgery why were you doing a stupid video"
