Not sure how nobody else noticed this. Meeks is laying out of bounds and touching the ball, and they get the jump ball call. Unreal.
Once again, Williams-Goss playing heroball out of the timeout. Few got outcoached down the stretch tonight.

Are you sure? I thought he was sitting pretty close to the end line while touching the ball. No matter, UNC made the plays down the stretch. Really would have liked to have seen Mark Few get one here though.
Those guys (assuming you mean Collins and Zaminsky) played like shit tonight. I saw nothing at all tonight to make me think the Zags wouldn't have fallen apart in the last four minutes if Collins was on the floor. The Zags' best run in the second half came when both those guys were stapled to the bench.

I just rewound it, and seems pretty clear to me that Meeks has his left hand on the ball, while his right hand is out of bounds and holding him up.
Not your fault man. I'm just bitter we had our best big men taken out of the game due to shitty calls

The officiating was absolutely horrible, both ways, but more questionable fouls went against Carolina. It was too bad and affected the quality of the game, but not the end result

Yeah, I see that now. Just don't understand how they stop play all night long to try and get the calls right, except the most important possession of the game. That jump ball call led to the Hicks basket that put UNC up 3 with 20 seconds left. Would have much rather seen Gonzaga down 1 with the ball and a chance for the win.
Sitting here looking at the box score I can't believe a team that shoots 35% from the field, 4-27 from 3, and 15-26 from the line won a national title game.
Great from a competitive standpoint, but the quality was bad mostly due to officiating
I would disagree with that pretty unequivocally, and even if it could be shown that more questionable calls went against Carolina, the ones that went against Gonzaga had a much, much bigger effect on their game. 3 of the 5 calls against Collins were brutal, and he's arguably one of their 2 most important players.
