Jack must've really fallen off the past 2-3 years. I used to love him and you guys are universally slamming him. Maybe just too long at this point.

I think at this point it’s like a caricaturist drawing a caricature of a caricature.

Feels like ever if we can't put one in here, the confidence level in the team has to be higher after tonight's game. So many chances.

His style was never going to stay appealing, but I think he’s gotten worse. It’s a clown show

I think Jack is trying to put himself into Johnny Most territory, hyperbole / shtick / rants, etc. I don't think that plays well now a days. There is a kind of line and he marches across it quite frequently.

He's sad. He now thinks that every detail needs to be yelled. His goal calls last 30 seconds. He sucks the air out of every exciting moment instead of letting it breathe.

There's a reason the highlight packages all are dubbed with Goucher calls.

He's a homer. He's our homer. He goes overboard sometimes but IMO that was a pretty egregious call when a team had a premium scoring chance and the refs blew dead for a non threatening reason. He go overboard? Of course but thats who he is.

Why were they playing Sweet Caroline? Dig at Boston or coincidence?

It also feels more showy. Most always seems like he WAS the guy he was on the air

I'm with you. You guys are weird. I love Jack. I love Tommy too. That was a fucking egregious whistle that may end up costing the B's this game. Jack was in his rights to lose his shit. I did the same thing.

Its like we bitch about and hate all our local announcers until they leave and we bitch about wanting them back because they are sooo much better than the new one

Gonna keep saying it, but I really like Morgan Reilly. Would love to see him in Boston at some point in his career.

Aaaaand the Bruins fucked by a non-icing call. This game is a fucking joke.
