Shocker of the century, the Leafs' D is porous and Frederik Andersen can't get left-to-right to save his life.

Close these clowns out early on Saturday. Bonus points for sending Acciari and Wingels out to take runs at Kadri.

Is that dirtbag back? You do get the feeling someone will try to run him, especially if the game is decided.

Life is a little harsh. Can we restrict it to ending his career, with a relatively normal life afterwards?

I want no part of these guys back in Toronto for a 6th game. I would like to see the Bruins destroy them in game 5, then rest up and prepare for the Eastern Conference Finals that the NHL accidentally scheduled a round too early.

I thought this was gonna be a 7 game nail-biter. I guess it still could be but it doesn't have that vibe does it? B's are just better than the Leafs and by a fair margin. Beating them at home without Bergy is telling. That said, I want NO part of a Leafs resurgence. End it Saturday!

The biggest takeaway from that piece is that TSN not only can't spell Pastrnak - they omit the Oxford comma:

The shift in Plekanec from a fourth-line afterthought to an important role player has been seismic, and a major reason why the Leafs had the opportunity they did to win both games at home. In two games, the Plekanec line ceded just two points to Bergeron, Pasternak and Marchand after they combined for 20 points in the first two games.

I can’t believe that nobody in the Toronto organization has told Kadri to STFU about the retaliation angle. It was amazing he said it immediately after the game, but ok, maybe the media got there before the PR/front office could get to him, but here is a week later still using it as an excuse.

So, I am going to preface this entire post with I am drinking, and it has been a long week....

I like this team. Maybe I love them. They are so fun to watch. So energetic. So resilient. The feel is different. Like 2011 or 2013, they are never truly out of it. If they are down by 3 in the third, I have to watch because I know they can tie the game. Doesn't always mean they will, but man it sure is one heck of a probability. They can never be completely counted out. Then...

Bergeron is one of the greatest all around players of all time. Period to me. Just fact. Accept it, and go fuck yourself. He's Hall of Fame, and one of the trust great people in hockey. I want my kids to be like him, to act like him, to play like him. These types of players deserve rewards. It's not luck. It's skill. They earn it. They deserve it. Yet, he has to play. If he does, they win. I believe that. I love this team. So many options. So much depth. They can beat anyone. Anywhere. Anytime. I believe that. Even without him, I think they can beat Toronto. They are that type of team. I can feel it. Is that weird? Well fuck you.

And isn't that what this is about? Sometimes we all doubt. It's easy to fear. I choose not to. What does that mean? Am I naivie? Am I drunk? (Yes). But I believe. I do. I haven't felt like this since 2011 and 2013. We came close in 2013. I think they can win it now. Let's start that tomorrow night. Take this game. I see it. My mind is flowering with the possibilities, and I am really happy to enjoy this ride.

At the age of 3, my son, while watching Bs/Leafs with me, asked; "Daddy, what was their name again, the Make-Believes?"

Expose that sham D-Corps once more and send this '17/'18 Toronto pretender to Mr. Rogers' favorite neighborhood. Go!

I love this unconditionally, the way a dog loves a 3 year old dropping cookies.

I'm also going to steal it. :)

Im stuck at work today, so I am okay with the 8 start time.
And I have my kids’ school auction tonight at 7:00. I already floated the idea of leaving at 8 and got shot down, so the question is whether to block myself off from the outside world until I get in front of my DVR, or to find a corner to stand in and use the NESNgo app.

Why are two games on at 3 and one at 8, instead of something like 1, 4:30, and 8?
