No way to know for sure besides the way they have played late in games, but this squad appears to be extremely well-conditioned for the most part. They have been dominant in 3rd periods. Things were a little wonky the other night obviously but on the whole they have been so good closing out. They weathered the inevitable desperate rushes tonight and threw the knockout punches instead of just sitting back in the shell.

Ten years later, it's time for payback for that Scott Walker OT goal in Game 7.

Well right now their is a tentative Celtic game scheduled for Friday so I’m thinking game 1 will be Thursday night and game 2 Saturday.

Tuukka painted his masterpiece tonight. Just an absolute goaltending clinic all night long.

Extremely satisfying win. The Bruins made a million smart, subtle plays all game. Much more like the team I know they can be.

Evidently playoff hockey is too intense for people to read posts before replying.

Or was the 'major that doesn't exist' really that subtle of a joke?
I’m just catching up now but for what it’s worth I got it on the first read.

So may it be said. So it may be so.

This. Columbus physicalaty dropped off a cliff after game 4. They couldn't keep that pace for a full series. Bruins got stronger as it went on despite having to play a 7 game series and not having all that time off

This was tuukkas Series. I love all the forwards - really tough to play against 4 solid lines. Krejci continues to play very well. I’ll be interested to see how the d holds up against the canes.

If he could fix the 2nd periods they’d be unbeatable.

But I agree ;)
It's like night and day. Thank god for Tuukka.

Edit: I felt good coming in, but once they got out of the second tonight, I wasn't sweating a thing. They grind the shit out of games in the third, it's a joy to watch.

Rask's play inspires a lot of confidence. I'm very optimistic. Only halfway home but this is the kind of goalie play that makes winning possible.
