Great period, deserved win. Rask came up big when it counted most and his offense showed up. Hopefully it gives him some confidence.

In terms of rookie playoff performances, DeBrusk has basically been Seguin’s one good game against Tampa extended over a whole series.

How much does everyone think this series benefits the B's going into Tampa? We are certainly battle tested having played a much superior team than they did. They've been resting up, but we'll be not rusty.

Rask HAS to be better next series, but so do a lot of players. They'll be facing a much tougher defensive team led by McD and anchored by a much better goalie.

Don't read my posts..... they're.... not my finest moments.

Holy shit, what an incredible game. Incredible series from an objective standpoint. Part of me wishes I could have been objective for it, but man.... I can't even right now.

Bruins match up better against Tampa. I'm actually much less worried about Tampa than I was Toronto.

I’ll be the first to admit I was convinced they were done after that awful second period. Congratulations to the Bruins for a gutty professional win in the third, and congratulations to the fans who had more intestinal fortitude than I.

More Rene Rancour makes me smile.

I must say that our Jake Gardiner was absolutely horrendous, minus 5 for the game would have been minus 6 if PP goals counted against you, He literally made numerous unpressured giveaways. You wouldn't like him next year, would you?

New Jersey is a mediocre to average hockey team. Boston is not.
Not saying Boston is not. Point is, what happened in regular season rarely carries over to the playoffs. Lightning is a better team than the Leafs. So, if you think it gets easier now, you are probably mistaken...But it's hockey....lot of random stuff happens and a hot goalie can always steal a game or two.

I'd like to thank everyone at Slumbrew Brewing for getting me through that game. And thank you to PSK and El Gatissimo for hanging out with my drunk ass during game 5.

Well as a Leaf fan I offer my congratulations. It wasn't a well played game by any means but Bruins were well deserving of the win. Good luck against Tampa.
You have a championship level club in the development stage. You'll be back soon. Very soon.

Eh, down the stretch TB was 23-14-2, while TOR was 24-9-2.

And either way, match ups are important, not just straight records.
