Down 3-1. Going on the road to King’s Landing. Kyrie getting beaten down worse than the Dothraki. Stevens pulling a Dany and not knowing when to call a timeout. Hayward not providing any air cover.

How is this season going to end?

Game 5 loss, Kyrie saying he has no respect for Stevens and that the only way he re-signs with Boston is if they change coaches

A starting lineup of Semi, TimeLord, Yabusele, Wanamaker and Jonathan Gibson propels Boston to a 15 point victory in Milwaukee that spurs a run to the finals.

He then calls Brad “inexperienced”, refers to his 2016 shot, and promises to be a better leader, completing the Kyrie Bingo Card.

I don't feel like this playoff run will be complete without a passive aggressive pregame sound bite from Morris about "how to win" that is punctuated by an few off-balance contested midrange jumpers followed by a leisurely jog back on defense.

Bucks in in 6.

C’s go down early tonight. Quit on their “leader” Kyrie and lose by 40.

Usually as a fan, especially after 2004, I buy into the underdog stuff...just win tonight, no way we lose a game 6 at home, and anything can happen in game 7. Not with this team. I think they get their doors blown in tonight and the last image you see of the 2018-2019 Celtics is a disinterested looking Kyrie walking by himself into the locker room. And frankly, I’m cool with that. I will always love the laundry but this team hardly deserves to wear it.

I have been in the optimistic camp throughout the season. I figured come playoff time, the rotations would be adjusted to win instead of spreading playing time. Kyrie would step up and show why the Celtics should build the team around him. MaMo would either learn only to take his 3 pointers in the flow and stop hero ball, in fact stop dribbling altogether and if not then stop being on the floor. The same could be said about Tatum to a lesser extent. The chemistry issues of the regular season would be proven as overblown despite "leaders", Kyrie and MaMo having the tied for the lowest Social IQs in the history of team sports. Gordon was rounding into shape finally shaking the fear of the injury and be a sharp shooting weapon in the playoffs.

Up to now, my optimism has been completely unfounded. I now expect a 20+ point blow out to end the season with 4 poor games in a row.

I really hope I am wrong yet again (optimism in me dies hard).

I'm co-signing this, even though it hurts and I hope we're wrong.

Every time I’m convinced I have given up on this team, they do something to pull me back in... so, I’m guessing a convincing game 5 win followed by laying an egg at home in a 30 point game 6 loss...

All the narratives are cute and all but if they begin to make uncontested shots at rates that resemble an NBA player they will be fine.
