City have had multiple reds for what Lukaku just did. I actually agree that it isn't a red but the consternation is laughable.

I'm really really frustrated with the officiating this season. Everton are good for their points, good for them. But if this stuff is supposed to even out I'd sure like to see it happen at some point

Disjointed match so far. Feels much more like a goal will come off a mistake rather than positive play.

And now Pogba with handball on a corner???

And Milner converts. What a wreck of a game so far, but I'll take a Liverpool lead however gotten.

He does that every game for some reason.

Disappointing that Pogba's been the worst player on the pitch. Felt like United were a bit better but Mignolet played great.

I think A-A is holding his own given the situation. He should be helped with Countinho coming on. Origi was gifting away possession like it was Brewster's Millions.

That's a red for Herrera, clearly cut down a goal scoring opportunity

Did they ever show a replay of it? It looked pretty close. #6 on Liverpool, Lovren? Was pretty close.

Worst game Pogba has had this season. Was pressing wayyyy to much to create something.

A draw was probably fair.
They just did. He looked off, but it was a ball going back and forth so quick that the linesman couldn't get back in line.

I still don't understand the Mata for Martial swap. Martial was dangerous all day and really took it to the Liverpool right back. But Mourinho should get some credit for bringing on Fellaini, who added a dimension needed to score.

Great second half. I'm for Liverpool but I love Mourinho (he's like a Portuguese Bill Parcells). That interaction with Klopp was too much.

Herrera is wasn't the last man, but it was funny to watch him try to talk it out with Firmino.

ManU was on the front foot he second half, that goal was deserved. The title seems further and further off, but top-4 for 'Pool would be an excellent result this season. Picking up points against the other sides competing for the Champs League is good enough.

As for Pogba, egads man! Is he really that easy to get off his game?

It would have been nice to have Matip available, especially once Fellaini was in. Even though he hasn't played for Cameroon in over a year, they had to hold him out because FIFA haven't confirmed that he is eligible during the ACN. Apparently Cameroon could ask that he be banned from playing domestically during the tournament if they feel Liverpool influenced his decision to not play. The team denies this, as his dispute with the Cameroon setup goes back to when he was still playing for Schalke.

Would have been staggeringly cunty of Lukaku to touch that.
I think he actually did just slightly change the flight of the ball but it wasn't seen. No reason to touch that ball unless a defender was near. Otherwise just shield it in.

Great game between Sevilla and Real Madrid right now. Lots of talented players on both squads, and it's a really intense match after their Copa del Rey fixtures.

This sounds like sour grapes from the Cameroon manager who is the source of the Matip dispute. All he has to do is not respond to FIFA's request for confirmation and Matip and Liverpool are screwed.

As mentioned it would certainly have helped once Felaini came on.

Pity about the offside goal but them's the breaks - especially at Old Trafford. The ref seemed to be tad biased towards the home side. The sequence of play in the first half .. the blown call on a Lovren foul and then another on the subsequent corner where Pogba should have seen yellow and got nothing.

Coutinho made a huge difference to the Liverpool attack after his introduction. All and all though an enjoyable frenetic game.
