My son has me up early so I’ll start it. Newcastle vs Cardiff while he eats his eggs.

Chelsea Arsenal is the big fixture this week, today at 12:30pm Eastern.

We definitely don't have to worry about Manquillo stealing Yedlin's job.

Glad I didn't watch that snooze fest.

How bad were the two teams? I've said more than once I couldn't believe Cardiff got promoted, so how bad was Newcastle?

This weeks edition of hideous Spurs kits at least has the unintended benefit of making it look like a 90s team since the fade makes it look like all the players are tucking a baggy shirt into shorts. Eriksen looked like Bergkamp there on that break lol

Wait till Europe when they wear them with white shorts.

People like to criticize Spurs' lack of depth, but they have a good enough squad that they can bring quality players like Dembele and Lamela off the bench. Good subs by Poche, they've completely controlled the game since the changes.

Kane puts it to bed. As is often the case, a non foul call the other way led to a break and Fulham defended poorly.
I really hate when that happens. It would’ve been a free kick in a dangerous area.

I like Fulham too. Bryan has been good at left back. Not afraid to take the space and then some.

Schürrle aged ten years over the summer.

Torreira looked like one of the best defensive midfielders on the planet during the world cup. Mad that he's not starting.

If that last minute doesn’t symbolize the last few years of Arsenal football I don’t know what does.

You know what's worse than watching this Arsenal game? Being stuck in Stamford and watching this Arsenal game at Bobby Valentine's sports bar.

Spanish David Moyes not really covering himself in glory these first 2 matches. Team look like they couldn't give less of a shit.

Sarri-ball > Emery Era.

I wanted to be optimistic but I'm coming around to the Arseblog view - holding a Europa League squad, they hired a Europa League coach and bolstered the back line with Europa League players. Why should i have expected Champions League quality? I know we've faced the class of the PL out of the gate, but damn.

Unlike the Wenger era they're moving the ball forward and into the middle and actually taking shots. If they can turn this into finishes, this team night actually have a chance. Well, if they played defense the might anyway.

I’m looking forward to watching LFC play these teams at Anfield this year.

LOL at the 30 minute mark, I wanted Xhaka, Iwobi and Mikhitarian subbed off immediately for Torreira, Ramsey and Lacazette. Shows what I know. (Maybe I was right about getting Xhaka out though.)
