Everything Im reading is an up to 8M deal similar to what Okung signed with DEN last year.Seahawks sign OL Luke Joeckel to a 1-year deal. Up to $8M, which means it's incentive laden. Yeah, it's pretty bad when you sign a Jags OL.
He was probably working before the sun came up and will be working nonstop. What a keyboard warrior, working until 7!
I'm saying most of that is in incentives. If I had to hazard a guess, the guaranteed money is less than $3M.8 million? Lololololol
Seriously though he's terrible.
Thera an unbelievable video of Aldon at 8:45 am, walking out of the police station. He is Done:Aldon Smith involved in a wreck that hit a parked police car per ticker. I think it said arrested and released
Mike GarafoloVerified account @MikeGarafolo 9m9 minutes agoGood for Logan. He earned the payday this year. Surprised he could only get 3 years given his age.
I don't understand the NFL policy that bars guys like this from the team altogether. Aldon's issues might be too much anyway, but the support of a franchise and teammates would only help.Thera an unbelievable video of Aldon at 8:45 am, walking out of the police station. He is Done:

He's clearly still drunk there, right. I'm colorblind but his eyes look bloodshot. Such a waste of talent. As a niners fan it's hard to understand how such a disruptive pass rusher at such a young age could fall so far from grace. That kid has some demons. Such denial and lies in that video.Thera an unbelievable video of Aldon at 8:45 am, walking out of the police station. He is Done:

It looks like this is old, but I didn't see it posted anywhere. Okung did better this year with his negotiations. 4 years at $53M with San Diego. He's uncuttable in the first two years of his contract.Everything Im reading is an up to 8M deal similar to what Okung signed with DEN last year.
Im a bit more excited about the TJ Lang rumors though
Denver radio, Mark Schlereth, said this morning that the Broncos felt that Okung did not have a great year and the Broncos misread the market and thought they could sign him for less.Wonder why Denver declined their 4/48 option.
Some players were taking less to play there during the Manning era. It's possible that this has ended and, coupled with inflation, has created Elway to misread the market in general.Denver radio, Mark Schlereth, said this morning that the Broncos felt that Okung did not have a great year and the Broncos misread the market and thought they could sign him for less.
Patriots had 2 first round picks (#21 and #25) - Chandler Jones and Dont'a Hightower. I suppose "unsigned free agents and changed teams" would include Hightower and Jones making it a dumb reference point since both of those were outstanding picks.Andrew SicilianoVerified account @AndrewSiciliano 31m31 minutes ago
With RGIII's release, 21 of 32 picks from 2012 1st round have either changed teams, are out of football, suspended, or unsigned free agents.

Washington giving WR Terrelle Pryor a one-year, $8 million deal, per sources.
Wasn't this the case before his release? He had already changed teams...Andrew SicilianoVerified account @AndrewSiciliano 31m31 minutes ago

Same here, but at least the one-year deal means he doesn't have to stay if Cousins leaves in '18Would have thought he could have received 4-40 from someone
Are Pryor and Cooks similar receivers? Pryor is 6'4" and Cooks is 5'10" and I don't think they are similar at all. With the extended look the team had at Michael Floyd last year, he could fill the Pryor role for cheaper this year due to his looming suspension.Would much prefer keeping Malcom and signing Pryor - especially to that deal, $8 mill for one season commitment??? - than the prospects of Malcom-Cooks swap. And I love Cooks.

Different receivers. Cooks is a much more explosive receiver. Are Pryor and Cooks similar receivers? Pryor is 6'4" and Cooks is 5'10" and I don't think they are similar at all. No, I agree, I don't believe they're similar receivers. But if we're looking to get generally Younger at the WR position, I think adding Terrelle Pryor wouldn't be a bad place to start. Even with their potential roles taken into account, I'd much prefer to just SIGN Pryor and keep Malcom to winding up with JUST Brandin Cooks. Are Pryor and Cooks similar receivers? Pryor will be 28 by the start of the season. Cooks will be almost 24.No, I agree, I don't believe they're similar receivers. Sure about that? They're literally apples and oranges.
