I'm going to the game tomorrow night. My buddy who I'm trying to meet up with has a parking pass for the Fidelity lot but we do not. What is the easiest lot to park at to meet up with them?

I won tickets to the game and part of the package is tickets to a pre-game tailgate party at the Empower Field House. Anyone know if its a true tailgate or is more of a buffet, seen contradicting info.

Are you coming from the north or south of the stadium?

Either way, I would suggest parking a ways from the Stadium in one of the easier out lots and walking up. As you get close to the Stadium, the out becomes very tedious and long (unless you have a Putnam Way Access pass, which you will not in this case).

I come from south and usually park in the America's Best Value lot. http://www.americasbestvalueinn.com/bestv.cfm?idp=1381 Or one nearby even further from the Stadium.

Another point I would make is that I don't just go down Route 1 any more. Instead, I go to a spot in Mansfield (the Red Roof Inn or some other place nearby) and then use Waze to my lot, which takes me on back roads and avoids much of the slow grind on Route 1.

I live in Foxborough, and if you are ever going to a football event at Gillette Stadium, I suggest taking exit 8 off I-95S if your coming from the North, and using the backroads down Chestnut Street and North Street. Avoid route 1 at all costs. There are a lot of homes down North Street that you can park in their driveways for $30-$40. Walk down the empty railroad tracks near the Putnman gates if your in the middle of North Street and it's a 15-20 minute walk with easy in-and-out access for your car.
I actually live on North Street, if any SOSHers want to park at my drive way for $20. If you have any questions definitely let me know.

Isn't North Street shut down to the public on game days? I remember a few years ago, we went in that way and there were multiple check points ensuing we had a parking pass to the stadium.

From the North i find it's the easiest to get off 128 @ Route 1 (not the Route 95 exit, but before the Amtrak station), go down through the Automile, take a right at Rte 28 and go down Washington Street which will drop you off at the McDonalds on Route 1 right next to the tractor trailer lot.

Yes, you can't get through without a Putnam Way pass or a Foxboro resident parking pass.

Hi!! I'd like to take you up on your offer for the U2 concert @ Gillette if you have a spot avail on Sunday June 25? I have parked on North Street quite a few times for events--very convenient!! Let me know. Thanks!!
