I just think it’s mental and sitting him just continues the downward spiral. And Nordstrom is already playing it would either be Backes or Wagner.

There isn't a personnel change that could help the Bruins. I did not mind the effort tonight. They generated more than enough chances and did beat Bob a couple of times but not the post. Win Thursday.
Benching Pasta is lunacy. While we’re at it, let’s bench Marchand and Bergeron too. They don’t have a point in 4 games and have taken brain dead penalties that have led to Columbus goals. Might as well sit them too.
If it's mental, it's Knoblauch-ian, and even further convinces me he needs a night in a suit to watch the game and hopefully get the game to slow down a bit for him.
Oh and they need to play with the mentality to drive the net more often instead of being too cute. When they get in trouble is when they think they have to make the perfect play to score. Just go to the net and get a bounce.
This. Pastrnak is an easy target right now but there are a bunch of guys that could be stepping up. Unless we want to spend the rest of the series watching more 4th liners hit posts in the slot like Accardi did, the coaching staff has to find a way to get him right.
They lost the game because of a goal given up on a power play due to a dumb, selfish retaliatory high stick from Marchand. I guess we should bench him too then.

If he’s hurt and they’re lying about it than yes, the coach has to make a decision on him. I still think Pastrnak on a blown out quad is better than Backes or Wagner.

Yeah there's no way they are benching Pastrnak outside of him not physically being able to play. Putting in Wagner or Backes for him is lunacy.

Yeah, I saw it in real time, and suspect that Brad will be sitting for Game 4. That was really stupid.... he even looked around to make sure the refs weren't looking at him before he did it. Dumb Brad definitely found his way into this one.
