This might not be the appropriate thread for this but this nugget was in Reiss' Sunday column -

5. The 2018 season is crucial for third-year receiver Malcolm Mitchell, who flashed potential as a rookie in 2016 but missed 2017 with a knee injury. Mitchell has said he is fully committed to being ready for the offseason program, and as part of that approach, he has been working closely in recent weeks with Brady’s personal trainer, Alex Guerrero, at TB12 Sports Therapy Center. Mitchell entered the NFL with some medical questions regarding his knees. When healthy, as he showed in the second half of Super Bowl LI, he can be a difference-maker.

So if Mitchell has a healthy season, does that lend credence to Guerrero's methods and add more fuel to this fire?

To your first question: absolutely not. Need a lot more than a couple of random datapoints before making any conclusion regarding AG and his methods. At best, it will be impossible to know if Mitchell’s health is due to natural healing process, luck, the Pats training staff, or AG. Mitchell was healthy his first season here.

To your second question: no one knows anything that’s not pure speculation.

The key takeaway is that two or three data points aren't evidence.

If the reports are true--that AG disavows squats and emphasizes stretching--then embracing his philosophy would produce the world's healthiest 0-16 team ever.

Working against the AG miracle cure hypothesis is that maybe going to AG is just a sign that a player is fully dedicating himself to a rehabilitation method and not just going through the motions and a timeline with the team staff. Wondering how much of the AG stuff is a mental approach combined with the physical work.
