quick! someone call in and ask Francesa if the weather played a factor last night. Dude thought that the Cowboys would be effected by snow a few months back.

Atlanta was gassed

Now he's on the PI call

Would have scored anyways

They were gassed!!

As a previous poster stated, they were gassed because they didn't stop the Pats!!!

All they needed was one stop

Brady only was good when Atlanta was gassed

But they were gassed because Brady is great

Fucking resentful bastard

Now giving Edelman & Hightower belated props

You guys can't get wrapped around the axle about this. Mike is having a meltdown like my two year old son has when he doesn't get his way. This is comedy. If you aren't laughing at this, I don't know what to tell you.

Got worked about the PI call on the pass to Marty. Thinks the ref should've picked up the flag because THE RULES SHOULD BE DIFFERENT IN OT.

Odd spot for him to take a stand, that's PI in 2017, 2001, or 1991.

This is just sad, holy shit. Dude's losing it, it's insane how much the Patriots' success affects him so personally.
Belichick and his closest people had vowed (right after leaving the Hofstra Campus) never to speak with Fatcessa.

They never did.

Not a single interview. Not a single acknowledgement. Not on his WFAN Show...not on his nationally syndicated NFL Now Show each Sunday morning during the season.

The Sports Pope has been shut-out from "any" communication from the NFL's greatest dynasty, its greatest coach, and its greatest quarterback during the entire run.

It makes him absolutely insane and it's delicious.

If Peyton or Eli had a 4th qtr like that he'd crown them a winner and a brilliant player. With Brady it was a gassed defense and a bad coach. Hilarious.

Can only imagine how "interested" he would be in the Brady/Montana conversation if the Pats had lost.

I remember they didn't like each other but I can't recall exactly the issue that led to the universal ban on the "Sports Pope"

Either way...I'm dying right now this is hilarious.

Flipping around the dial for first reaction from 98.5 WEEI and WFAN and get to WFAN at 2:11 he's already talking about Gary Sanchez the Baby Bombers Gleybar Torres .. Click .. come on sports pope.. 10 mins for maybe the greatest Super Bowl ever ? Pathetic.

where I was last at
Even if you accept the premise that Quinn's butchering of situational football is legitimate, which I think it is, the question that Francesa avoids is how many other teams/QBs can do what the Pats/Brady did yesterday. The other side of the historic comeback just doesn't fit Francesa's narrative.

This. Full stop.

The other side of this coin -- Did any of you ever wonder why Jeff Fisher got so much love?

Related question -- do you ever shake your head on the HOF voting for who gets into Canton?

Sportswriters comprise a corrupt insiders' club -- and football guys are among the worst.

Killing Quinn and avoiding Brady/Montana talk is his safe space. Snowflake can't deal with the outcome or its historical implications.

Wow. Now the Patriots are cheating the salary cap with Brady? Hilarious!
Yeah, I posted in another thread: apparently Brady and veterans taking less merits an "asterisk" that wipes out the "It's harder to build a dynasty in the free agency era" argument.

Mike saying that the Pats are cheating with how they pay Brady to get under the cap.
The Patriots definitely benefit from Brady's willingness to take less. It has the added effect of setting the "Nobody makes not than Tom" ceiling in negotiations with other players. But it isn't cheating, unless there is some secret deal where the Krafts have secretly promised him a piece of the team after retirement.

Gisele's earning power offsets any lost dollars on Brady's part anyway.

"That's a suspicious nine"

What was that in reference towards? Someone came to my desk(how dare they) and i missed what was leading up towards it.

His head must be about to explode. It might.

Mike doesn't think the game was "a classic."

On what planet is that not one of the best 5 Super Bowls ever?

Back to faint praising New England.... "They dink and dunk, dink and dunk...that's what they do."
