There is no Boston athlete I enjoyed watching more than Bergeron. Not Ortiz, not Pedro, not Brady, not even Bird. When I was at games and his line came on, I would often just watch him for the entire shift.
He excelled at every aspect of his position at the highest level of the game.

I'm still holding out hope that he comes back. Sit until January and then work off the eggnog for the playoffs.
I don't think Patrice has that side in him. I think he'd almost view it as a betrayal of his word and would immediately implode.
