I want so badly for this to not end so badly. Patriots sign Fowler and Coleman and they somehow see the light and INFURIATE THE ENTIRE NFL. Please, please...make it so.

I always thought he was a special teams guy. Maybe someone to stop those 30-yard KO returns?

I think you've got BINGO. He played a ton of ST in Denver so this is probably where he's going while providing worst case scenario WR depth.

I kept waiting for Ghost to just kick it through the endzone last week, especially after the 5th or 6th return of 30+ yards.

They must be trying to pin teams below the 25. Not working out so well.

I assume that BB wanted Ghost to kick to the goal line, just like he did all last season, and expected the kickoff team to be able to cover it. Obviously, they failed. So, 1 of 2 things happened:

1. Since Ghost has kicked that kickoff 1,000 times over the last season+, that is what he does best. So BB told him to keep doing it so as to not mess up his swing; OR
2. BB told Ghost to kick it as far as he could and out of the end zone, and Ghost didn’t have the leg to do it.

I am leaning heavily towards #1 here, although the bolded could be off-base.
