I'm not looking it up, but it seems BB has stuck to his slots a bit more the last few years. I think its going to be a somewhat boring march to pick #72 and he'll select a player when we get to it.

I think they trade up slightly from their first pick if someone they really like is available - possibly up to the middle of the second round for someone like Rivers. I expect a couple of trades back in the later rounds.

What could they realistically get for Lewis though? A sixth? Given his frailty and contract situation even that seems high.
I think they hold onto him for now.

I think their first move will be moving down a few spots in the third for an additional late round pick.

I agree, I don't think Lewis' league history or injury history puts him very high on the trade value category. He's provides good depth and situational use for us and I think he stays.

Marshawn Lynch only netted a trade up from a 6th to a 5th. I'd expect to be in the same neighborhood, more or less, for Lewis. Maybe even less.

As much as it is nice to have shiny new toys, I'd rather they keep JG and MB this year because I think it gives them the best shot of standing on top of the mountain one more time.

Oh, right -- ok, then just to be different I'll say their first action is to take a player with the 72d pick.

Probably not a great comparison. Lynch wasn't coming back to play for the Seahawks, he's old, hasn't played in a year, and has a massive salary.

The only negative thing you can say about Lewis is he may be injury prone.

I think they could get a 3rd or 4th for Lewis. Whether that's worth it or not is another factor.

In a running back loaded draft? For a guy who gets injured every year?

I mean, I love the guy when he's healthy; but the concept that he could bring back a 3, or even a 4, under present-day circumstances is unrealistic.

I'd keep him, because he's better than the conditional 6th or 7th rounder (based on health next season) that he could get in return

I'll be the one guy to say they sign Dan Skuta before anything else. And I hope it happens, because I really enjoyed watching him play back when he was in San Francisco. Reminds me a lot of Nink.
