Looking for recommendations for a secure remote desktop software that will allow upwards of 100 computers to be on the user list. All computers but 2 or 3 will be remote and unmanned, just connected to the internet via ethernet cable.

Have you looked at TeamViewer? It works pretty well and is able to get behind firewalls/routers/etc. I use it to manage a few of my computers remotely from work and other locations.
