Massive UVa choke job. Throwing up bricks and air balls all over the place. Pathetic. I'd be pissed if they weren't playing my other rooting interest and I didn't already have my tix for MSG next Friday.
They were a little bit cavalier in regards to their offense.

Following UVA this year has been a maddening exercise. After game 1 of the season, they kick their All-American post player, Austin Nichols, off the team for personal reasons, leaving them with Isaiah Wilkins as their only legit post player of any consequence. Lost at Villanova by two, beat Louisville twice, lost thee overtime games, beat UNC by double digits eight days after getting absolutely smoked by them. They clearly still had a capacity for greatness, they just couldn't impose their will for 40 minutes like in years past, especially on the road. And then for these last two games, they lost the aforementioned Isaiah Wilkins to some mystery illness (nobody at least publicly has IDed it, but he's lost 20 pounds since the ACC tourney, which doesn't sound great). Yesterday was the perfect storm of offensive suckiness that has plagued everyone on the team at various points this year. They just didn't get bailed out by Perrantes or somebody else this time. Can't complain though, this still beats the crap out of the Pete Gillen and Dave Leiato eras.

Re: Wilkins....I've heard strep throat, unspecified viral illness, etc etc. He's been tested multiple times for mono and come up negative. Almost starting to sound like a Rocco Baldelli situation. Hope for his sake it turns out to be something transient.

Good look but how do you not get the ball to Swanigan?
Swanigan is kind of a post version of Buddy Hield. Very dominant in college, fantastic human interest story, carries his team on his back but will be someone's binky and get overdrafted and disappointing.
