A Scud Away from Hell
We did this the last time Pats won a SB so let's try it again.

Often, great audio/video clips and pics get lost in various threads. Let's make this a place to gather them all.

I listen to Boomer & Carton pretty much every day. Carton is a die-hard Jets fan. Even he was rooting for the Pats during the game.

And the obligatory (some great footage from the stadium as well). NSWF for lots of f-bombs:

Am I the only person that finds videos of people recording themselves (which kind of makes you think they're "playing up" for the camera) kind of awful?

I love the in-stadium stuff. Live, at the game - it comes across as much more organic. The "at home in my living room" stuff? Meh.

I have several friends who work at the Houston Chronicle.

My friend, the Chronice's direct of graphics, built these fur today's paper. Thought you'd appreciate them.

Also hat tip to New Orleans for the best headline I've seen:

The Edelman one is amazing--reminds me of that picture of some or other Gracie looking like he's waiting for a bus while he has a guy in some weird armlock

Cool graphics. Hopefully they caught the graphic showing the Pats winning Super Bowl 52 instead of 51. Unless it's foreshadowing :)

This has to be the only team ever to have three different starters win a game and win the Super Bowl in the same season, right?
I believe so. 1987 Redskins started 3 QB's and won the Super Bowl but not sure all had a victory .

There
The camera then rightly followed White into the end zone for his celebration but I would love to have seen more Hogan -- immediately after the arms went up for TD, he looked like he basically lost his mind. Hands on helmet like he couldn't believe it, and then ran up the sideline out of the picture.

The ones where someone sets up the camera to video themselves always seem cheesy...the ones where someone else has pulled the camera out I like a bit more.

These days though I doubt everything.

Except that one of the Toronto Maple Leaf fans from a few years ago. That was amazing.

EDIT: The dude at the 5:00 mark clearly posts here. He was sans pants.

That's a wonderful video of Moss and the Bradys. It's easy to forget these are real ppl with families and lives.

I just checked, and the situation with the 1987 Redskins' QB position was pretty crazy.

Jay Schroeder started 10 games (all in regular season) and the Redskins won 8 of them. Ed Rubbert started 3 games (all in regular season) and the Redskins won all 3. So, two different QB started games in the regular season which the team won.

Doug Williams started two games in the regular season, and the Redskins lost both. However, he came in as a replacement in 3 games, making more attempts than the starter in all 3, and the team won all 3 of those.

Moreover, in one of the games Rubbert started, he made only 2 pass attempts before being replaced by Tony Robinson, who finished the game (with 18 attempts), leading the Redskins to a win.

So, you can make a good case that this Redskins team really won games during the regular season with 4 different QBs.

In the playoffs, Williams started each game, and the Redskins rolled to a victory each time, beating the Broncos 42-10 in the Super Bowl. Schroeder was credited with one pass attempt (which resulted in a sack) in that SB victory.

One of the great joys BB & Brady brought me is to see an all-time great like Moss be part of the Patriots history and share moments like that. Thanks for posting.
Patriots fans aren't allowed to have many regrets but one of them for me is not getting Moss a ring. I love Gronk but nobody will ever electrify us the way Moss did in 2007. It was 1999-2000 Pedro every Sunday with that guy.
