Dortmund now up 4-0 in the 25th minute on Schalke. Wow.

EDIT: Yesterday in EPL, Leicester and West Ham played to 1-1 draw. Only top matchup today is Liverpool/Chelsea at 12:30.

I also got a rare opportunity to see Union Berlin on TV yesterday and watched a super-fun game that ended 3-3 on a goal from a corner by Union as time expired. That kept them in 3rd in their fight for promotion.

West Brom getting a kinda freak goal early and putting on a masterclass in first-half time wasting and general West Bromminess.

Schalke has scored 2 second half goals against Dortmund (with a another disallowed) and they have about 30 minutes to grab the 2 more needed to tie it up.

Uh oh...Aubameyang gets second yellow--Dortmund down to 10 men in 72 minute.

EDIT: And Schalke immediately hits the post on the ensuing free kick. Wow. This game is nuts.

WHOA Schalke's injured player is back and they've made it 4-3. This would be a ridiculous comeback.

Sokratis Papastathopolous with some pathetic timewasting

edit: It could be argued that him doing with 30 seconds until the extra time announcement tacked a minute or two on there. 7 minutes to go

Man, referee blew down a clear break for Dortmund where he should have played advantage, looked to be 3 against 2

Finally a shred of good fortune for Palace. That was the sort of result that has been going the opposite way for this whole season. Very important before the derby with Brighton on Tuesday.

I just realized as well that Sakho was captain today.

Looked like Rondon had a pretty clear chance to put WBA ahead in the 5th minute of added time but he pushed it wide.

Thank you very much -- they sure did need it. It's the opposite of how things had been going. They've played much better than the point tally shows, so hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

Why is Brighton a derby partner for Palace?
I'm glad you asked! It's a great story. I know that @dirtynine has posted this before, but it's always worth having another look.

How Brighton v Crystal Palace grew into an unlikely rivalry

Tuesday will be the first one I've ever seen. I have to work, so I'm going to have to avoid the score so that I can hopefully see the game when I get home on Tuesday night. I'm pretty excited for it.

Hazard is absolutely terrifying.

Milner has consumed nothing but stupid pills since returning from Sevilla

Surprised Morata didn't hurt himself with that flop

Not intentional. Willian got lucky.

Not sure if a better goalkeeper saves it. I got a feeling Courtois would have done better, though I don't ding Mignolet for not being able to catch that.

I have been here before with teams, where the people who run them are so fucking dumb and keep making the same mistakes over and over that make it impossible to compete, and you wonder why you give them your time and your care. I’m getting there with Everton
