X has looked more like himself in September. I really think he had some crucial injuries he "gutted" through. The only killer B I am concerned about for now is JBJ, who is in a decent slump.

X isn't hitting for much average or power, but he's getting on base, which at least suggests a better approach, especially if his hand is sapping his power. Maybe he's one of those players that changes his approach -- not always to his benefit -- depending on where he hits in the lineup.

JBJ has had two stints on the DL this year (knee and thumb), so it's possible, if not likely, that injuries are at the root of his struggles as well.

JBJ has also been more streaky than Brian Daubach so far through his career.

Here's to hoping he's about to flip the switch. A hot JBJ has shown he can carry an offense on his back. The next few weeks would be a fantastic time for that to reoccur.
