Who has had a sweeter NBA turnaround than Swedish Larry Bird? Dude was buried in Motown and is now playing quality minutes for an all time dynastic team.

this is over. one thing of note for the blazers is how oddly calm ET is in huge games. What a crazy awesome dude.

CJ bricking FTs is kind of inexcusable at this point in the season. That said, Lillard is getting trapped hard - he isn't choking. Its the Warriors defense. Even Mark Jackson recognizes that.

What a dud of a series. Hopefully KD is out for the finals too or else we're really in for a suckfest

Not breaking any new ground here, but what a series from Curry so far. As we’ve seen with Lillard, it’s hard for a perimeter oriented guard to be this consistent game to game in the playoffs.

Lillard is only getting trapped when someone tries to pick for him, he had one on one at the perimeter a lot this game (once against Jerebko even) and just couldn’t do anything. He hasn’t looked like the same guy since the OKC series, as I’ve said a bunch of times since then.

On that Jerebko series, there was help below the perimeter and Lillard was way out. I agree he is struggling but to me its a function of Golden State's defense. They are daring everyone else besides Dame and CJ to beat them. Its clearly a good strategy thus far.

OK, but he was struggling almost as badly for most of the previous series too. I just think he's exhausted (or hurt, or both) after dragging his team to a win over a very solid OKC team, plus Kanter has disappeared more and more as the playoffs have progressed, due to injury or Ramadan effects or just being Kanter or most likely a combo of all three.

Draymond's energy level at this point in the season is incredible, he was flying up the court end to end, over and over. He looked like John Wall in a PF body, remarkable.

Iguodala is getting a MRI on his lower leg, he only played 18 minutes and not the last quarter and a half. Windhorst says he has had a sore Achilles for a while and is very unlikely to play game 4 (in part because of the series score).

He probably doesn't like KD, (judging by their altercation this year) so with him out, Draymond wants to prove the team doesn't need him.

KD just seems like a pretty unlikeable dude.

The Warriors are much more fun to watch without KD. If KD and Kyrie team up in New York, they will drive first the fans, then their teammates, and finally the other crazy. BallhogzRus.
You and every NBA fan are saying the same thing. KD's a great player, but the Warriors offense tends to rely on his ISOs way too much when he's in the game. They're once again reminding us of the beautiful basketball they used to play on both ends of the court back in the day.
]

I'd forgotten how beautiful the W's game is -- kudos to Kerr is coached the hell out of this club this playoff. And while I don't hate KD, he is a bit hard to root for with his persecution complex (not that I root for GS to begin with). The league will be better in a # of ways if KD goes to the Knicks -- more competitive, the Warriors will be more fun to watch, the Knicks will be filled with drama....

I feel robbed as a fan that Durant is on
It depends if he fasts during Ramadan.

Firas Zahabi (mma trainer) says it is permitted by the faith for a Muslim to do Ramadan at a different time if it interferes with his work and he can make up those days later.

Gasol hitting shots makes a huge difference for the Raptors, so much harder for them to pack the paint.
Raptors aren’t letting the Bucks get anything easy on the offensive end. Giannis is completely locked down and it starts by not trying to make it a track meet as they have in the first two games.

LOL unless I really missed something, why even bother putting refs on the court. He took a million steps.

Why is everyone in Toronto going insane over a perfectly executed Euro step?

Edit: ok some here feel same way. I’ll hold off for the replay I’m too lazy to get up and rewind

Giannis is back in the track meet, setting an all-time distance record in the Flying Eurostep.

The double Euro step is legal now.
I mean it's ridiculous at this point. All the steps you want to gather, then you can bobble to maintain and take more steps, then follow it up with a Euro step for more steps.

I suspect it was a make-up for the Nurse induced phantom travel call on him the sequence before. Your point stands though...
I rarely criticize officials on the floor as I know how difficult it is to referee at levels much slower than the best of the best NBA players. I do not have that same amount of leniency from those of us watching on tv when it is fairly easy. It then REALLY simple with replay.

Is Gasol playing drunk? Passes out of a wide open dunk and earlier he batted out a ball when he was in position by himself underneath on transition......

Kyle Lowry gets pushed through from his back by GA, then jumps straight up in the air as GA is over-the-back of him, and gets called for his 6th foul with >6 mins left.

I don't dislike Giannis personally, but I hate the way he's officiated.

edit: and just as I type this, Giannis is called for a somewhat ticky-tack offensive foul.
