There was nothing amazing about it, which is why I predicted he'd make a 5 15 minutes ago. He needed to take an unplayable, hit his layup to within 50 yards or so, and get up and down. Which he did.
The entire thing was amazing. Your prediction was easy to make, it stood to reason Spieth could hit the 3rd shot close and not blow the chip for the putt. But that was pretty incredible.

When he was lying 2 from a perfect lie 215 yards away, what would you expect him to make?

306, row 14
Well he was on the driving range tee. The lie was fine. It was a completely blind shot though. He was a lot further than 215 though, I think.

Ugh, Kuch has probably alreay lost this tournament on 15-18 this week. How could he have played this stretch +1 all week?

ANd of course a terrible approach shot

I blame the R&A. Why was that area even considered part of the course? It never should have been an option for him to go 80 yards off the course

Lets talk sportmanship after the pointed finger at Kuch, with "YOU see that!"

Greatest bogey ever! #teamspieth
You should finish every post with, "YOU'VE BEEN NEEDLED."

Because I called the hole amazing, in general, as in the entire thing. Not just the bogey. There was the time, the process, Spieth walking through manufacturing trucks and dropping on the practice area. It was literally amazing, because I've never seen anything like that before. I get it, you're the needler, you needle, but god you're exhausting.

MYRTLE BEACH!!!!
Telling his caddy to "go get that". Love it, I'm guessing Jordan saw a break his caddy didn't and Jordan used his line and drained it.

Wow. That's a pretty amazing bogey
It really wasn't, he just made it seem that way.
Stop, it was an amazing bogey and there really isn't any other way to describe it. And it was amazing for myriad reasons.

If you find arguing exhausting, why do you interject yourself and start arguments?
From now on, when Dr. John says stop it, I should just get back into my place, I guess. Yes, my Lord.

Kuchar's just gotta be thinking to himself, "What the eff happened? I sat down for 25 minutes, looking good, drinking a Capri Sun and now I'm two behind?"

MYRTLE BEACH!!!!
He's gonna get to -12 and the story of nearly choking this tournament away is gone. He'll be 69 for the day and history will remember the last 6 holes and forget the missed putts.

Nothing special about this cardboard kid. Only 4 under in the past three holes coming off a sick bogey to regain a two shot lead. Ho hum.
