Didn't see a thread dedicated to this but I remain astonished at what Ainge has accomplished in such a short period of time. A little over 3 years ago, this was our depth chart:

Humphries / Olynyk
Bass / Sullinger
Green
Bradley / Bayless
Rondo / Pressey (!)

Now, entering the 2017-2018 season, we're looking at the following:

Horford / Zizic
Morris / Crowder
Hayward / Tatum
Smart / Brown
Thomas / Rozier

So, in basically 3 short years, Ainge has added 3 all-stars, 2 top 3 picks, and he still has potentially 2 more high lotto picks on the way in 2018-2019. This franchise had very little direction 3-4 years ago and now they're basically right behind the Warriors with respect to team assets. I don't know how anyone could ever criticize what Ainge has done here.

Yes, it is unreal. The goal was to build for 2022, for which he gets an A, and almost by accident he also built a team that could go to the finals

The best the Celtics' own draft pick has been in his stretch was 6th, which happened once. Next best was 16th.

On this note...

That's fucking crazy. Trust the process indeed.

Never forget that in Brad's first year as an NBA head coach, he coaxed 1198 minutes out of Jordan Crawford, who Danny then managed to ship out of town for a couple of 2nd round picks, one of which (Deyonta Davis) became part of a trade for a Clippers 1st rounder (owed to Boston in 2019).
