Jack and Brick thought that was a weak goal. I'm not sure, it was right over Tukka's shoulder.
Clean look from the left circle. At first glance I thought it was one he normally should have, but I think the shot tipped off Bergeron's stick which threw the save off. On replay it looked like it knuckled.

More lead-footedness from Z/Dougie on that. Regardless, still apparent that there are serious questions of this team despite any results in the near term.

I'm waiting to read about Tukka's battle with the flu. Otherwise this is a very uncharacteristic game from him.
Sadly, uncharacteristic games have been characteristic of him this year.

Phew. The last 10 minutes were more difficult than necessary, but nice win. B's have a modest little run going. 3 wins in their last 4 games and points in 5 of 6. Nothing earth shattering, but at least they've stopped nose dive in the standings.

Seriously. Paille still would have been more likely to hit the goalie in the chest
Somehow it would've turned into that Blues game from a few years back where they took it down the ice and scored with less than a second left to send it to OT.

Sure you're not thinking Stars-Oilers and Patrik Stefan's Trail of Tears?

Nope.  But this one included a PP goal by Axe, a missed open net by Blake Wheeler and a Krejci slapshot to an empty net getting saved by Barrett Jackman.  What a not fun year to be a Bruins fan.

Wasn't that the year the Bruins finished top of the Eastern Conference and swept the Habs? Yeah, the ending sucked, but it wasn't 1996-97.

I was mixing it up with the year after where they had Trent Whitfield and Steve Begin play a combined 15 minutes in a do or die game against the Flyers.

Hopefully the B's keep up their winning ways.  Judging by our psyche recently, it won't be long until RMPS resorts to cannibalism.  The big question for that one though is...
