That was a catch, the ball came out after a second defender hit him while on the ground.

No. I’ve seen much more than that not called a catch. It’s the NFL that is nuts.
Just like in the mid-00s, they have fast and aggressive players that smart offenses can exploit. That touchdown on the screen was a great example. Shazier gambled on his own and a nothing play resulted in a 50 yard touchdown pass.
This is playing to not loss instead of playing to win. When you are the worse team in a tight game late you need to play to win. You’re hoping for a Pit turnover (only reason this is tied now) and that’s bad strategy.
Not sure why this game matters for Pats...even if Steelers lose we still have to beat them in Pittsburg. Right?
I get the logic you're employing here, I just disagree that the context of the decision supports going for 2.
that's about the softest hold on a LB you'll ever see, PIT is going down the field here one way or another. not that they probably need the help.
