Going for 2 there is, man, I dunno.

Given time and TO left for each time, you don't really put the Steelers behind the 8-ball if you get it, and you almost certainly lose if you don't get it.

I think kicking the XP was the right move.

This is playing to not loss instead of playing to win. When you are the worse team in a tight game late you need to play to win. You’re hoping for a Pit turnover (only reason this is tied now) and that’s bad strategy.

I get the logic you're employing here, I just disagree that the context of the decision supports going for 2.
