How Neves adapts is going to be interesting. Beautiful kick. Card was harsh but studs were shown and high. Seen it given and Jagielka can’t complain much having created the danger

Some confusion as to whether it was for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity but the Wolves attacker barely had the ball and wasn’t through yet.

Still don’t think it’s a red

Both the announcers and the Liverpool Echo game thread saying that the Wolves free kick was set up about 5 yards in front of where the foul was

Liverpool-West Ham kicking off. Pool starts with Gomez at CB, Wijnaldum at the base of the midfield, and Milner to his right. Keita & Allison make their debuts.

Keïta looks unreal so far... extremely calm on the ball and has a great, deceptive first touch
Agreed. Already he’s been key to a couple attacks building through the middle, which is something they have not be able to without Countinho.

So far both Antonio and Anderson have bailed out the West Ham defense with long sprints back. Going to be hard for them to maintain that.

Salah!

Couldn’t have started better if drawn up by Klopp himself.

Now let’s see how West Ham respond. There’s quality in this side and a world class manager.

Great first touch there by WH. AB has it covered though.

This attack is fun to watch. Their back line distribution has been excellent so far too.

Never seen a ref get fully in the path of a ball carrier.

Then Taylor gives Ogbonna advantage, he gives it straight away, and gets advantage nonetheless

Awesome save by Fabianski, don’t know how he stayed square with the far lost shot a possibility for Firmino

Ha. I don’t blame Pelligrini. Do whatever it takes to get to half time only down 1. Reassess then.

It will be hard for teams to stop Liverpool's attack this year. Holy cow. The outside backs are rolling over WH's flanks.

Now to see if the defensive switch can stay in the "on" position....last season, they were good for a soft goal and an unnecessarily tense finish

It’s a little early in the season to be playing with that kind of frustration.

Worth it to see Hold Me Back Jack take a screamer to the gut

Can Wilshere and Noble be deemed the Brexit Boys yet?

Disappointed that Torreira is not starting for Arsenal against Man City with all their offensive firepower.
