Tottenham hosting Bournemouth to start it off.

Dembele, after 5 minutes of the announcers saying he's not putting ball in net enough, scores. 1-0 Tottenham.

I'll keep talking to myself. Kane makes it 3-0 just after the half.

It's his 20th goal--just the 4th player to ever score 20+ in 3 straight seasons.

It's like watching a youth game where one team rarely gets over midfield.

Such a fabulous performance by Spurs! Playing at another level. Need a positive result from Mourinho's boys tomorrow to make the last few weeks interesting.

The 718
After being buried on the end of the bench for months, Jagielka scored for the third straight game.

Barkley scores, does a Lambeau Leap style crowd visit- not full dive, but standing on the fence and grabbing fans' hands to celebrate- and gets a yellow for his troubles.

They awarded an own goal.

Interesting day for Barkley: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39608149

Everton have banned the Sun "from all areas of its operation" after the newspaper published "appalling and indefensible" allegations about Ross Barkley and the people of Liverpool.

The article, written by columnist Kelvin MacKenzie, appeared on Friday.

MacKenzie was suspended after comparing the midfielder, whose grandfather was born in Nigeria, to a "gorilla".

He also wrote that men with similar "pay packets" to Barkley in Liverpool were "drug dealers".

Real lucky to take 3 points from their match while playing a B squad that would likely be a top 20 team. Isco scores his second in the 91st minute to cap off a MOTM performance. Asencio really starting to assert himself. Morata had good movement and is excellent in the air. Danilo had an awesome assist. That would've been huge for Madrid to drop points, but now Barca has to hold serve against a frisky Sociedad without Ney. Don't worry though, Lucho is starting Gomes. Again. Right on cue, Messi slams home a textbook strike to the lower corner from outside the box.

Every West Brom set piece is an adventure and Liverpool look like they've no idea what to do against an organized defense. Not an enjoyable match so far...

Every time Firmino loses his shirt I lose my mind. Such a stupid, selfish cunt thing to do with the consistency he does.

The tie feels like a preview of every group stage game in a 48 team World Cup.

Rondon is damn strong. Liverpool are just lucky that Wright-Phillips wasn't interested in finishing his chance.

There are conservatively 15,000 people there that bury that chance and the guy with the ball wasn't one of them.

That's the kind of performance you expect from a Mourinho team. Ridiculously well drilled defensively, economical on possession, and very physical.

Just getting around to ManU/Che now. Watching Sideshow Bob duck away from the deflection, allowing the goal, is glorious. He's such a fraud.

HUGE result for Spurs. Makes the whole top of the table a whole lot more interesting.

It does but I'd still put Chelsea at 80% or so to win the league. They just don't have many tough remaining fixtures while Spurs have United and Arsenal. I can't see Tottenham winning out and I can't see Chelsea dropping more than 4 points. Michael Cox had a good article this morning on how United have given the league the blueprint to beat Chelsea but I don't think the teams they have left to play have the personnel to pull it off (save for maybe Gueye with Everton).

I generally agree, but at least now it's plausible. It's also not like they only have the dregs of the league left. Yes, Boro and Asunderland should be OK, but next Tuesday against Southampton could be interesting. Everton the following week is a legitimate test. West Brom can be a complicated fixture. Even Watford can be tricky. While Spurs still have tougher matches against United and Arse, this at least has the potential to get interesting.
