I've mentioned this before, but Mleczko does a nice job- her percentage of useful observations is pretty high.

I thought he said peaches and fruit and thought hmm, that's redundant. Backed it up...Yeah pizza. I'd puke.

SJ navigated a too many men and delay of game, plus a couple posts, but Karlsson with an absolute bullet to take it.

As Seattle gears up over the next two years, the feeling I’ve heard from most hockey people is that people will just offer their protected list for the next expansion draft and be done with it, no side deals for extra protection/assurance of picking a certain player.

Eh, I liked the added element of strategy that added. It isn't VGK's (or Seattle's) fault that Florida and Columbus misevaluated their own talent so grossly.

For sure, but the sentiment conveyed by Friedman, Kypreos, et. al., is that GMs felt like they were burned in the process, so none of that for Seattle. ‘Course, all it takes is one GM to do something stupid unilaterally (looking your way, Peter), and that’ll go out the window.

I have a feeling that the player pool available to Seattle is actually going to be better than the one available to Vegas, considering that they are paying $650 million to join the league as compared to the $500 million Vegas paid. Whether or not Seattle's GM does as good a job building the team as McPhee did is another story.

And another goalie equipment problem. This time it’s the strap that was loose on the mask.

And the Preds are falling apart. Where were these officials last night?

This is as insane of a sports story in recent memory. Think of the performances of expansion teams in other sports then look at what Vegas is doing. I'm rooting for them now.
They're the anti-Browns. A team that had no expectations on the horizon is now 4 wins from the Stanley Cup Final.

I like both the Preds and Jets, but I admit I am pulling for the Jets. Their home crowds are crazy, and they are fun to watch. Either of these teams should beat Vegas, but who knows whether that will happen. Have to think the winner of this series and Tampa are the favorites to win it all.
