1968 Red Sox Walk Offs
From SoSH
- 5/14 - Joe Foy tripled to lead off the 10th inning, which prompted the Senators to walk Carl Yastrzemski and Reggie Smith intentionally to load the bases. Ken Harrelson then hit a ground ball to the shortstop Ron Hansen who came home with it to force out Foy, but the Senators' catcher Paul Cassanova tried to turn a double-play and threw the ball away, allowing Yastrzemski to score the deciding run.
- 7/3 - Reggie Smith scored in the 8th inning on a Joe Foy single to tie the game. Foy then walked to start the 11th, moving to second on an Elston Howard sac bunt. Mike Andrews then singled off Ken Sanders to bring home Foy with two outs.
Boston 4, Oakland 3 - 11 innings
- 7/29 - Frank Robinson scored the tying run for the Orioles in the 8th inning, but Sox pitcher Ray Culp stayed in and finished what he started. After retiring the O's in the 10th, Jose Tartabull doubled for Boston with one out. He was driven in by Mike Andrews who stroked a double of his own to walk-off with victory.
