1981 Red Sox Walk Offs

- 5/15 - Carl Yastrzemski drew a two-out walk and was pinch run for by Reid Nichols. A Jim Rice single and Tony Perez walk preceeded a Carney Lansford single, scoring Nichols from third base.
- 5/21 - Jim Rice hit a three-run homer in the 9th off A's starter Brian Kingman to give Dennis Eckersley the Complete Game Shutout. Eck only allowed 2 hits while striking out 12 that day. Dwight Evans crossed home with the winning run.
- 5/25 - Carney Lansford singled with the bases loaded in the 9th to score Carl Yastrzemski from third. Yaz had walked to lead off the inning.
- 5/30 - Dwight Evans hit a two out, three-run blast off Rollie Fingers to cap a 5 run 9th by the Red Sox, tying the game at 6. Dave Stapleton would then score Jim Rice with a single in the 10th to win in Walk Off fashion for the fourth time in 2 weeks.
Boston 7, Milwaukee 6 - 10 innings
- 9/16 - Carney Lansford collected his third walk-off hit of the year with a 10th inning single off Tigers starter Jack Morris, scoring Jerry Remy who had walked to lead off the inning. Morris was outdueled by Dennis Eckersley who went all 10 innings allowing the lone Detroit run.
