- 4/26 - Dwight Evans singled off Barry Jones in the tenth inning to score Marty Barrett.
Boston 5, Chicago 4 - 10 innings
- 5/23 - Dwight Evans singled off Jerry Reed to bring home Ellis Burks, who had doubled with two outs. The Red Sox scored four runs in the final three innings to win.
- 5/29 - Marty Barrett brought home pinch-runner Randy Kutcher with a single to beat Bob Welch, who had worked the entire game.
Boston 3, Oakland 2 - 10 innings
- 5/31 - The A's scored an unearned run in the ninth inning due to Jody Reed's error, then scored the go-ahead run on a Dave Parker home run in the tenth inning. In their half of the tenth, the Red Sox got a run off of a Sam Horn RBI groundout before Rick Cerone singled home Ellis Burks for the victory.

- 9/29 - Rick Cerone drew a bases-loaded, two-out walk from Chuck Crim that scored Dwight Evans.
