- 4/11 - Dwight Evans brought home Wade Boggs with a 10th inning single off Jerry Gleaton.
Boston 3, Detroit 2 - 10 innings
- 4/26 - Jody Reed homered off Bryan Harvey with one out in the 9th.
- 4/27 - After Tony Pena singled in Jody Reed for the first run in the 9th, Ellis Burks brought home pinch-runner Randy Kutcher and Pena with a single off Gene Nelson.
- 6/23 - Rob Murphy allowed a go-ahead homerun to Mickey Tettleton in the top of the 10th. But Dwight Evans answered back against Greg Olson with a two out, two strike, two run homer into the netting above the Green Monster, scoring pinch-runner Randy Kutcher. Earlier in the inning, Tom Brunansky had singled with two outs to keep the game alive.
Boston 4, Baltimore 3 - 10 innings
- 7/2 - Kevin Romine homered off Kenny Rogers leading off the 9th inning.
- 9/7 - Carlos Quintana singled home Tony Pena in the 11th off Michael Jackson for the victory. The Red Sox got a run in the 9th to tie on a Quintana sacrifice fly as well.
Boston 5, Seattle 4 - 11 innings
- 9/28 - Junior Felix hit a two-run homer off Jeff Gray in the Blue Jay 9th to go ahead 6-5. The Sox cameback on Tom Henke off a Mike Greenwell single to score Jody Reed and a Jeff Stone single to plate Wade Boggs. The win gave Boston a 1 game lead in the AL East Standings over Toronto with five games to play.
