- 5/14 - Jose Canseco singles off Shawn Boskie to score John Valentin from second in the 12th.
Boston 4, California 3 - 12 innings
- 5/17 - Wil Cordero homers off Todd Van Poppel with Troy O'Leary on base in the 11th.
Boston 5, Oakland 3 - 11 innings
- 6/13 - In a game where both teams scored two runs in the 9th, the Rangers scored the go-ahead run in the 10th to lead 7-6. Then John Valentin homered before Alex Delgado delivered Mo Vaughn with a single in the home half off Dennis Cook to win 8-7.
Boston 8, Texas 7 - 10 innings
- 6/16 - Down by two in the 9th, Reggie Jefferson hit a 3-run homer off Mike Henneman to score Mo Vaughn and Jose Canseco.
- 6/26 - Tim Naehring homered off Alan Embree in the 15th with Alex Delgado aboard. The Sox had earlier rallied for 3 runs in the 9th off Jose Mesa when John Valentin led off with a homerun, Reggie Jefferson singled home Jose Canseco and the day's hero Naehring brought home pinch runner Lee Tinsley to tie the game.
Boston 6, Cleveland 4 - 15 innings
- 7/17 - After the Yankees got to Heathcliff Slocumb for 4 runs in the 9th, they led 11-9 after having trailed 9-2 in the 7th. But the Red Sox answered back with 3 of their own in the 9th off John Wetteland. Troy O'Leary doubled with the bases loaded bringing home Tim Naehring and Bill Haselman before Jeff Frye singled home Reggie Jefferson to win 12-11.
- 8/2 - Down 3 runs entering the 9th, Tim Naehring walked with 2 outs before Reggie Jefferson homered to bring the gap to 1. Scott Hatteberg then singled, Lee Tinsley walked, and Troy O'Leary tripled to score John Valentin (pinch-running for Hatteberg) and Tinsley for the victory.
- 8/22 - Troy O'Leary homered in the 9th off Mark Acre to give Roger Clemens the complete game victory. Clemens had allowed the only Athletic's run in the top of the 9th on a Terry Steinbach single.
- 9/15 - Troy O'Leary singled in Lee Tinsley who was pinch-running for Mike Greenwell who had singled with 2 outs off Roberto Hernandez.
- 9/29 - Darren Bragg singled to lead off the 9th and was eventually driven home by Reggie Jefferson to Walk-Off with a win in the final game of the season.
