Overall Career
Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1992, Brown was signed by the Boston Red Sox in 2003. In 9 games with Boston, Brown collected three hits and one RBI in 15 at-bats.
After appearing briefly with the Kansas City Royals in 2004, Brown appeared in 25 games for the Texas Rangers in 2006, hitting .194/.231/.222 in 36 at-bats, his most in the majors since 2002.
