  • Barry is the son of former Major Leaguer Bobby Bonds, the godson of Hall of Famer Willie Mays, and the cousin of Reggie Jackson.
  • 1996 All-Star Home Run Derby Winner.
  • Starred in the 10 part ESPN reality TV series, Bonds on Bonds. The show was cancelled in June 2006 due to "creative control" issues with Bonds and his representatives.
  • Bonds' 715th home run ball sold on eBay for $220,100.
